Painting of a horse in Watercolour

When one of my customers asked if I could paint horses. I said Yes!

I had only done a head, this was a long time ago.

I am never frightened to try a subject, how difficult it may be.

And so, I was given an old photo done by Photographer Sporting Moments.

It means it was not a digital photo where we can see much more details.

It was quite challenging but I have managed to produce this Pure watercolour on Saunders Waterford paper with Winsor Newton paint.

Feeling the need for solitude!

This morning I did feel the need to escape!

I have just tried to regain my sanity. I have walked 3.5 kms along our quiet and glorious canal. I did sit down and just enjoyed the time going by. I saw a cormoran flying with a fish, I saw a fish jumping out of the water, ducks, seagulls, but the pleasing site was the many swallows arriving, flying over the canal and going over the bushes towards the sea. They are getting ready to catch the next North wind that will take them to their very long journey to Africa...

That's Life!

Oh That Cake!

How sickening this is!

When my husband passed away, I was obviously very distressed!

Can you imagine my surprise a few weeks later, I received a phone call from the funeral parlour.

A French man contacted them, asking for my phone number pretending he had worked with me in France!

As he refused to give his name, I told them not to give my number, instead I gave my personal email address.

It was the next day, I realised that when I worked in France, I was in my  early 20s and the men working with me were much older. It would have been impossible for them to want to be in touch with me after 50 years!

I phoned back to the funeral parlour who told me the gentleman was eager as he had rang back the same day to find my phone number. They had given him my email address.

A few weeks passed, nothing came in my mail box and I was relieved!

Then all of a sudden, a French "gentleman", unknown to me, sent me an email requesting one of my painting.

I did find that contacting me at such a distressing time was of very bad taste, but these people try to con artists when they are at their lowest or distracted by life's events.

He is still waiting for an answer and will not receive any.

I would prefer to burn my painting than sell it to him!

When our lives change

I have been absent from my Blog, on an off due to family matter.

For several months and years I was helping my very dear husband who was seriously ill.

It has changed the time I could spend on my Art.

In April my dearest love passed away, leaving a great void in my life. We had been together for over 51 years. There is no word to express how I feel.

Slowly I am coming back to painting and with the help of my family and friends, I am trying to come back to a bit of normality.

Soon, I will be posting my latest creations and news.

My dearest love Tony.

ANOTHER SCAM! this time regarding Payment by BACS

Another scam is running about. These scammers never get short of ideas!

This time, I have received many emails by various individuals
kindly letting me know that My Payment with BACS had been well received.

With of course a PDF to open!

These days I do make payments with BACS. It is very practical.
I am not silly though, I can  check the name of those I have paid.

My advice to any of you, is DO NOT OPEN the PDF! It is a virus.

Instead, check your bank account. You will see that nothing has been paid to them through BACs.

So nothing to do!

Watercolour with White horse

It has been a long time since I have posted a new painting on this blog!
