At rest on the Thames London

I have always wanted to paint  Thames barges. My dear friends Peter and Sue who are globe trotters provided me with a photo from a trip to London.

I had to try to interpret it my way. I decided to use Watercolour paper Arches so good for landscape. I knew that the large sky would take the colours and would merge them without killing the luminosity.
